Traffic Delays Possible January 21st
A capacity crowd is expected for the Celine Dion concert on January 21 at 8:00PM. Heavy traffic delays during the evening commute are expected.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2009 the RBC Center will host Celine Dion in concert at 8:00pm. With an anticipated crowd of 18,000+ in attendance, heavy traffic delays during the evening commute are expected. Areas to be heavily impacted with event traffic are Edwards Mill Road, Wade Avenue, Trinity Road, Blue Ridge Road, I-40 and I-440.
Those attending the event are encouraged to plan ahead, carpool if possible and arrive early. Parking lots will open at 5:00pm and doors will open at 7:00pm.
Raleigh Police will be directing traffic around the RBC Center. Information will be displayed on the message boards adjacent to the roadways surrounding the arena.
