TRAFFIC ALERT: Canes Game Traffic to be Affected by Marathon Nov. 6
The City Of Oaks Marathon scheduled for Sunday, November 6th will result in street closing and traffic detours in the vicinity of the RBC Center. The Carolina Hurricanes will host the Dallas Stars for a 1:30pm game start. Areas most heavily impacted with be game traffic using Blue Ridge Road, Hillsborough Street, and Edward’s Mill Road. Residual back-up from forced detours will likely affect all roads surrounding the RBC Center.
Those attending this game should carpool if possible, and allow more travel time. Parking lots will open at 10:30am. Doors will open at 12:30pm.
List of street closures and the approximate times of those closures - to effect game traffic:

Hillsborough Street from Pullen to Blue Ridge: 7:40 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Hillsborough from 440 going west to Blue Ridge will re-open at 10 a.m.) - Blue Ridge Road (northbound) from Hillsborough to Reedy Creek: 7:30 a.m.- 1 p.m.
- Blue Ridge Road (southbound) from Reedy Creek to Wade Avenue exit: 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
