Ring in the New Year with the post game party following the Carolina Hurricanes vs. Atlanta Thrashers, Wednesday December 31.

Following the game, all fans in attendance are invited to stay in the arena to celebrate the arrival of 2009 at the RBC Center’s Arena Club Restaurant. The post- game celebration will start at 10:30 p.m. Party favors will be provided, and the band Party Nuts will be performing classic rock, R&B and pop favorites.

The New Year’s Eve game sponsor, Yellow Tail Sparkling, will provide a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, and fans will be able to count down the seconds and mark the end of 2008 with the traditional drop of a massive Hurricanes puck from the JumboTron.

To cap off the night, fans will be treated to a fireworks display at 12:30 a.m. on the south side of the RBC Center.
