(RALEIGH, N.C.) – "American Idol"will host a Season 10 Finale viewing party at the RBC Center Wednesday, May 25. As Lauren Alaina and Garner, NC native Scotty McCreery await the results of the competition, fan reactions from the RBC Center will be broadcasted live on FOX. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. admission is free and parking is $10.

"We are excited to host an American Idol viewing party in support of local standout Scotty McCreery,"said Dave Olsen, Vice President and General Manager for RBC Center. “Although we understand the disappointment regarding the party not being held in the Town of Garner, the RBC Center is a regional facility which proudly supports our neighbors from all surrounding communities."

The "American Idol" season finale will air on FOX May 25, but the action will continue live on stage all summer with "American Idol LIVE!"
